Default Maximum Mission time

If I have a maximum mission time (say I need an equipment to run for 100 hours), i.e. machine operation will always be stopped at around 100 hours, but can have multiple failure during this operating period, how would I model this in Weibull - I've input the data, but get probabilites of failures for times in excess of 100 + hours which is not possible in the scenario I'm modelling. Can we stipulate the maximum mission/operation time at all?

Default Re: Maximum Mission time

Well, it’s a continuous distribution so you will get results to “infinity”… If you are not interested or the unit will not operate past say 100 hours then do not report any results after that time… I am not sure I follow why this is an issue?
