Hello,

I use Weibull6++ and recently I changed one of my plots from a “RRX” to “RRX”+”RS Regression Method” and the reliability decreased from 96% to 10% (at 200 000 s).
Now I am not sure which figure to use?
The data set was 2000 failures and 500 000 suspended data.

I am totally disappointed!
Did someone could explain why, and what “RS Regression Method” do?

Thank you

Dr Dave

Manuel,

I think you are asking about the ReliaSoft Ranking Method. If so, it is discussed at
http://www.weibull.com/LifeDataWeb/reliasoft_s_alternate_ranking_method_rrm_step_by_s tep_example.htm

Best wishes
Dr Dave

Manuel,

That is a huge difference and doesn't really make sense, unless your data contains very-very unusual censoring schemes.

I would be more than glad to look at your data set and try to provide an explanation.
If you wish to do that, please email the W6 file to Support@ReliaSoft.com and mention that you want the data set forwarded to me. I'll get back to you via email.
