RELIABILITY ENGINEER
MAJOR FUNCTION
Coordinates with the Warranty Administrator and Quality Engineer to develop and manage the methods/processes for capturing, analyzing, measuring and communicating product reliability information in an effort to improve product quality and customer satisfaction. Manages and champions the Corrective Action Process by acting as the lead on Corrective Action Review Board (CARB), working with CARB members to prioritize quality issues and ensuring the timely resolution of quality issues. Works with the, Product Development Directors, Product Managers and Quality Engineer to ensure reliability goals are established for New Product Development Programs and conformance is demonstrated prior to product introductions.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:
BSME, BSMET, BSEET
EXPERIENCE:
Min of 5 years of Quality Engineering , Reliability engineering or Test Engineering experience with Mobile Equipment.
KNOWLEDGE & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:
· Strong knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems & components
· Proficient in quality analysis tools such as 5D, SPC, PFMEA etc. Strong problem solving skills with ability to teach basic problem solving techniques and facilitate problem solving team events.
· Experience in developing product reliability/quality measures. Strong knowledge of reliability growth projection tools and techniques.
· Strong communication, presentation and team skills
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Self motivated with a high level of initiative
· Strong data analysis and reporting skills
· Fluent English
· Strong interpersonal and customer interface skills
· Able to be critical and accept criticism
· Able to collaborate and participate on cross functional teams
