ASSET RELIABILITY
WESTERN AUSTRALIAN ENERGY RESEARCH ALLIANCE (WA:ERA) (http://www.waera.com.au/)

· 3 year appointment commencing immediately
· Salary range: Level B $69,861 - $82,961 p.a.
· In addition to salary the University contributes 17% superannuation and salary packaging is available

WA:ERA combines the multi-disciplinary expertise of three established research institutions: The University of Western Australia, CSIRO and Curtin University of Technology. The Alliance is focused on providing premium quality research and technology-based solutions and education services to the global energy industry, particularly to companies with commercial activity in Western Australia.

The appointee will contribute to the WA:ERA Facilities Research Program in the area of asset reliability. The successful applicant’s research activity is expected to lead to the development of new engineering management decision support methodologies and tools that will significantly improve the reliability of oil and gas industry assets.

Applicants must have a PhD or equivalent in a field relevant to asset reliability; this may include a background in engineering, applied mathematics/statistics, human factors or organisational psychology.
