Albin Engineering is seeking a Reliability Component Engineer for our Silicon Valley Satellite client. Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
Duration: 6 months plus
Location: Palo Alto, CA
Industry: Aerospace
Rate: $45.00 to $50.00 (W-2 Contract)
As a Program Component Device Engineer, you will utilize your extensive knowledge in the processing, manufacturing, inspection, screening, & qualification of resistors, capacitors, magnetics, & switches.
Functions:
-- Perform coordination & resolution of high reliability parts issues with suppliers.
-- Utilize knowledge of high reliability parts processing, manufacturing, testing & qualification.
-- Resolve parts problems before & after parts are put into stores, & generate reports & action items.
-- Interact with Reliability & Engineering in product development & reliability.
--Knowledge of the DSCC Mil-Spec system & space level Specification Control Documents & parts related test inspection & qualification documentation is a plus.
Required skills:
--5+ years experience in high reliability component engineering
-- BS in Engineering
--Advanced skills in PowerPoint, MS Office Suite
--Excellent communication & presentation skills
--Subject Matter Expert in capacitors, resistors in a manufacturing environment
