I have no idea about this kind of component.

One of our supplier says their product's life is 1million times. Do you think it's possible?

Hi
Ask what do they mean exactly by that.
What is the percentage of units that could fail by that expected life?
What confidence level do they have in that statment?
What conditions/specs of usage are they making this statment for?

Hi, thanks for your reply.

The contact person is a sales man, seems he know little about reliability concept. Only one thing he can tell is the 1 million times. So i want to know the general life level of the industry. Such as B10, MTBF, ..., anything is welcome.

Reliability goals are set by the customers not by industry standards.
You should be looking for the voice of the customer to define the reliability goal.

Thanks
