Two quick questions

Hello,

Can anyone help me with the following:
1. Mean Time under "Block->Inspections". Can someone please clarify the meaning of this. Is this the mean time between inspections, or the mean time for an inspection? E.g. for a specific component in my RBD I envisage 4 inspections per year - how should I enter this if mean time is in hours.

2. Also, I'd to export my RBD diagram into a Word document but would like to tidy up the format first. Is there any way I can move / drag the block connection lines?

Hello,
1. I am not sure what Mean Time you are referring to but I will assume it is the distribution under the inspection tab. This determines the duration of the inspection. To define the frequency or policy of how the inspections are scheduled, you would have to add a policy to the block (under inspection policy, you will see an icon with a blank sheet to create a new policy or if you have already done so, you would be able select it there). Since you would like to have 4 inspections a year, the policy would be defined as "Upon fixed time interval based on system age" and the time would be 3 if your units were in months, 90 if in days and so forth. Remember that the units are determined by the units of your parameters.
2. Unfortunately a feature to move/drag relations is not available in this version. There is some customization available from the relations' style that might help (right click on the diagram and pick Options... from the menu that appears).
