Xfmea provides an Excel template for importing data from an outside data source. You can extract the data from your ORACLE database into the format required by the Excel import template (e.g. functions in the first column, failures in the second column, etc.) and then import it automatically into Xfmea by selecting "Import/Export Item's FMEA" then "Import from Excel" in the "System Hierarchy" menu. This functionality is described in detail in the "Importing and Exporting" section of the on-line help file, Chapter 16 in the printed user's guide and Example 9 in the training guide (training guides are available for free download from ReliaSoft.com - select "Training Guides" from the "Software" menu).

If desired, you can also contact ReliaSoft (Sales@ReliaSoft.com) to discuss your requirements for a custom utility designed to automatically extract the required information from your ORACLE database.
