Education & Experience:
B.S. Degree in Engineering discipline or Physics and 7 years experience including strong mathematical skills, statistics applications, use of reliability software packages, and fault tree analysis required. Applicants should possess a broad knowledge base including mechanical, electrical, and material science and be able to interface across the organization. Masters degree and 10 years experience a plus. Performance or support of safety analysis or probabilistic design/analysis methods, and communication and leadership strengths highly desired.
Work Description:
Perform reliability analyses on thermoelectric power generators, and other power conversion devices for space, government and commercial applications.
U.S. Citizenship required for government clearance.
Some travel may be required.
