Job Description/Requirements:
The Functional and CT Image Reconstruction Team is looking for a highly motivated electrical/mechanical engineer interested in working on the scan data disk array solution for Computed Tomography (CT) Scanners. Work tasks could include designing a new high speed scan data storage subsystem, working on the design for reliability leveraging state of the art technologies, performing thermal and stress tests and life-cycle cost analyses on raw data storage subsystem of a CT Scanner. Potential vendors evaluation and verification, manufacturing and service support, and console quality improvement projects will also be assigned as needed to support CT business objectives. The successful candidate will be accountable for documentation development such as Design and Test Specifications, Theory of Operations and Purchase Specifications.

Qualifications:
*BS in ME/EE.
*5+ years of product design experience.
*Familiarity with disk arrays, design for reliability, life-cycle cost analysis and vendor verification process.
*Demonstrated technical leadership and teamwork skills.
*Strong problem solving skills.
*Dedicated to planning and schedule execution.

Desired:
*DFSS trained and GB/BB certified.
*Previous Medical Imaging product development experience.
