An engineer with the following skills is needed:

•Experience developing maintenance policies for complex electromechanical systems; particularly the application of reliability centered maintenance.

•Able to work independently and proactively without direct supervision.

This will involve development of reliability/failure models for various types of components. Failure data for model development may be gathered from plant maintenance history or interfacing with manufacturer’s.

Using these models in conjunction with existing FMEA, fault trees, and RBD, maintenance tasks appropriate in addressing critical failure modes will be developed. These tasks will be packaged and optimized for downtime/cost to support system reliability and/or availability requirements.

Qualifications:

•BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Physics, or other technical discipline; MS preferred.
•5-7 years experience in maintenance policy analysis and development or reliability engineering.
