Our client has developed an envied reputation both locally and internationally for developing the most outstanding automotive products. Found in OEM vehicles around the world, these products will continue company growth by setting new standards in reliability, price and performance.
A key member of the Quality and Product Development Engineering Teams, you will be the foundation for a global centre of reliability excellence. You will be an integral part of the product development process, providing support to all reliability engineering issues on current and future products. In particular you will provide leadership to local and international teams on issues including:
Design of Experiments
Accelerated testing programs
Statistical analysis
Reliability targets and processes
Analysis of failures
Design for reliability
This position is more than just breaking products, you will have a significant impact on the whole organisations success by providing ever improving product reliability and ultimately new customer orders.
You have a detailed understanding of the reliability engineering theory (including the math) and have a track record of delivering best in class product reliability. Ideally from an automotive background (possibly aerospace, defence, medical device) you appreciate the complexity of electro/mechanical/fluid systems. Creative, innovative and hands on you love resolving apparent engineering conflicts and compromises. You can be relied on to effectively manage relationships with excellent communication skills and a depth of technical expertise.
