How do I estimate the failure free life(3 parameter Weibull) without using graphical method?

To estimate the failure free life (or the gamma parameter of the Weibull distribution) one can either use non-linear regression (if rank regression estimates are desired), or the MLE solution to the three parameter Weibull distribution. Both methods are available in ReliaSoft’s Weibull++ package. ReliaSoft’s Life data Analysis Reference book provides additional details.
