Reliability Engineer

The position will support the development of sensors and electro-mechanical systems used in aerospace applications. Analysis methods include:

- Stress Analysis
- Failure Rate Estimation
- Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analysis
- Fault Tree Analysis
- Hazard Analysis
- System Safety Assessment

*Systems level experience is preferred including prediction (Mil 217, derating, and electrical stress analysis background. Any kind of sensors and/or avionics experience is a plus.

In addition the successful candidate must be a thorough researcher and be able to identify source data for applicable failure rate data. Concise and accurate writing skills and strong presentation and communication skills are necessary. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and reliability analysis software are also required skills. A BSME or EE with a minimum of 3 years experience in the reliability field are the preferred qualifications. However, candidates with other engineering backgrounds will be considered if they have extensive experience in the RM&S disciplines.

This is a major company in the aeropace industry. Most of the aircraft that fly today have some kind of product manufactured by this company.
