Summary:
· Review design output specifications based on product requirements.
· Participate on project teams
· Perform reliability analyses
· Review requirements and specifications
· Design and implement life testing of final devices
· Analyze device return data to determine failure rates
Experience & Training:
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering. Electrical engineer preferred.
· 2 years minimum of medical device reliability engineering experience
· ISO 14971 experience familiarity is a definite plus
· FDA device regulations as apply to engineering QA & Product Development
· ASQ reliability engineer certification is desirable
· Regulated industry experience is a plus
Other Skills/Characteristics:
Good written and verbal communication skills. Must work well within a cross-functional team environment. Must be capable of completing assignments within scheduled time.
