PRINCIPAL Quality Reliability Engineer
Responsibilities: Provide technical expertise in the areas of reliability and quality engineering. Provide leadership to other department engineers and technicians including R&D, Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs and Marketing.
Develop and maintain risk analyses,FMEA's and DOE.
Design, implement and monitor reliability test to assess and confirm product lift prediction calculations.
Provide input for product and process involvements based on failure modes and corrective actions.
Perform verification, validation, design review and transfer-to-production activities specified for quality assurance.
Provide mentoring/training to professional staff and MRB support.
Education, Training and Experience: MS in Reliabiltiy Engineering, The candidate should possess 10-15 yrs experience in the area of failure analysis and quality engineering. Cellular/wireless experience a must. Experience with high-reliability product companies in the manufacturing of electromechanical assemblies preferred. Experience with Microelectronics, leads and antenna coils a plus. Familiarity with fabrication, sub and final assembly as well as process control and validation. Conumer Electronic experience such as cell phones desirable.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge/Skills in risk analysis, FMEA, DOE, Reliability test methods and knowledge of microelectronics assembly methods.
