Simultaneous Failures

In a system of say, 10 components, if 2 or 3 failures occur at the same time, how will it affect the determination of trend, calculation of the parameters of the distribution if it's Weibull?

This depends on the type of paraameter estimation method you are using. If using rank regression, simultaneous failures will degrade the ability to determine trend, and consequently effect the parameter estimates. This shouldn't be a problem, however, if maximum likelihood estimation (MLE) techniques are used.
