When retirement frequency data are obtained to estimate lifetime,
what distribution curve should be selected to fit the data?
I referred to "National Association of Regulatory Utility Commisioners,
Public Utility Depreciation Practices" and I found normal distribution and
Gompertz curve adopted by utilities, but, no weibull distribution.
Why is no weibull distribution adopted?
Show me the bad points of it as well as good points,
compared with Gompertz, please.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
