well i am a 21 yr old student of mecanical engineering(undergraduate ) currently in my final year of study.i am planning to go for higher studies in the united states and am interested in (MS)reliability engineering.but i have few doubts and would be very happy if i can get them clarified.

1)what are the general requirements for the MS degree in reliability engieering.what r the typical scores (gre/UG )required.

2)what is this branch mostly about.i have an idea but wud like to have complete knowledge.

3)how is the financial aid offered.i.e.,is it good or very less.

4)i'd like to have the list of universities offering this course.i know that Univ. of maryland is one.

5)what are the future prospects i.e., in terms of getting a job for the graduates?

well, thats it and i hope to receive some kind of info from someone as i've been trying for the above info since quite some time but in vain.well thank you very much

To your questions:

Most of us here at ReliaSoft are from the graduate program in Reliability offered by the University of Arizona -- so you may say we are biased towards the U of A.

The professor in charge of the program there is Dr. Kececioglu. You can email him at: dimitri@u.arizona.edu. You may want to contact him to get specific details.
