I would appreciate receiving any suggestions for sources of FMEA software. The applications would be primarily in design and manufacture of kitchen and laundry appliances.
Any comments regarding your experiences of using FMEA software would also be appreciated.
Thanks

Just as an FYI, and even though it is not currently available, ReliaSoft has begun work on an FMEA software package, to be available during the Second Quarter of 2002. As with all of our products, we strongly believe that this package will be the premier FMEA package on the market (when released). If you would like to be part of the beta test (1Q 2002) drop us a note at Support@ReliaSoft.com.

We do a lot of FMEAs with word processing software. I doubt any software can make failure modes analysis automatic, as the main challenge is to capture all(ideally)the failure modes.

Dear Lee,
just remember FMEA AND FMECA should be used only for the High risk Area, Otherwise its won't have more importance taken into consideration.
So just find the possible high risk failure mode, You can go by manually for better FMEA.

If you are looking for FMEA software you may want to visit
http://www.fmea-fmeca.com. They have a page that lists most
of the major FMEA software products, plus they have some
good information on FMEA / FMECA.
Enjoy!
