MTTR and MDT

Can anyone point me in the right direction as far as simple calculations for MTTR and MDT for repairable systems of large field population are concerned?

What I have is MTTR is the sum of diagnosis time and repair time divided by the # of failures of a system

AND

MDT is the sum of service, response, diagnosis, repair time and the time to acquire parts divided by the # of failures requiring service.

I am trying compute these field metrics along with MTBF and Availability.

Also, if anyone can help me on how to calculate Mean Time To First Failure on repairable system, I would be very grateful.
