Hi,

I have been using Weibull++7 for quiet a while now and i am having trouble with RS draw. I dont know if this is the right place to post suggestions but is this problem is faced by all Weibull++7 users or me alone.??

First, there is no option to save the plot from RS Draw as an image file. My printer does not recognize meta file  saved plots?? when i want to print it and discuss with other staff members.

Second, even when i save the plot as meta file, i am not able to open it with Paint, when i need to make small changes later on. It shows a completely inverted graphic. Try opening a .wmf plot with paint to understand what i mean. :( I know there are better softwares than paint, but the company policy does not allow them and i cant install new softwares just to edit one plot.

Does anyone else face problems like these?? The software is great overall though. Is there any other way to open\save the plot, usable with other simple edit softwares?

My suggestion is to improve the RS Draw window little bit, integrating more paint features into it, options to save as jpeg or BMP extensions or R S Draw as a seperate editor window whenever a user needs to open an existing .wmf plot.

Thank you.

As you mentioned WMF files are vector graphics and are not handled by Paint. The simplest work around (I am assuming you have MS Office installed) is to copy and paste the graphic in PowerPoint (or Word) and share it that way. Alternatively and from Powerpoint/Word you can choose to save it as a bmp file.
Hope this helps.
