I am trying to model a complex system that contains multiple blocks (e.g. redundancies) at multiple indenture levels and am having difficulties since BlockSim does not permit using subdiagrams with multi-blocks. As an example, assume the following system: I have an operation that requires 62 of 64 redundancy for Assembly A. Assembly A is composed of Components X, Y and Z. Components X and Y are serial, but component Z requires an 8 of 12 redundancy. I cannot model these multiple levels of redundancy because subdiagrams are not permitted with multi-blocks.

Do you have any recommendations on the best way to perform this modeling?

Hi,

Unfortunately, that is not really feasible within BlockSim 7 as it currently stands. We are looking into adding this in BlockSim 8. Thank you for your question, as we greatly appreciate comments from our customers regarding features that they would like to see in our software.

I apologize for any incovenience.
