Is it possible to reference a general spreadsheet cell in a different folio? I've tried, but cannot manage to get the correct syntext - can anyone help?

Thanks

On reflection, I should clarify my question. I've built up a large file with several folios. In a particular folio I have a spreadsheet with many calculations. In one of the cells I want to reference another cell which is part of a different spreadsheet contained in a different folio, but within the same overal file - is it possible to link these different spreadsheet cells? I know how to link cells in different spreadsheets within the same folio, but not between spreadsheets in different folios.

Thanks

Hi Robbie,

I am assuming that you are using one of our latest applications like Weibull++ 7. Unfortunately, the software does not have the ability to create cell references across Folios. However, depending on what you would like to have referenced, a work-around acn be done using the Function Wizard. The Function Wizard can be accessed by selecting Function Wizard from the Data menu. A list of functions is available on the left. You can select Data source functions from the dropdown at the top left to display only those functions which are dependent upon a data sheet. A frame labeled Data Source will appear with a Select button on the right. If you click on Select you can then specify the data source on which you want the calculated value to be based. This does not have to be the current Folio. In reality, you are not referencing the value in another Folio (or general spreadsheet) but simply recalculating the value within the current Folio.

I hope this helps.
