RCM Failure Finding Task Interval - Hidden Failure

I have searched the web and books for some alternative methods for calculating a preventive maintenance task interval for hidden failures - besides the standard NAVAIR RCM method of solving for t from Pacc < Prob hidden failure * Prob evident failure.

Does any one know of other methods?
