View Full Version : Differentiating groups of data in one Weibull diagramm

Hello,

I try to explain what I want and afterwards, what I've done so far.

In a reliability experiment were used three lots (different manufacturing time) of devices. I can calculate Weibull parameters for every single lot and can use a "multi-plot" to show the three lines together.

I can also mix up the data from all three lots (which should be equal) and produce one (virtual) reliability experiment and one Weibull diagramm.

I want now to differentiate the points into there origin by using three different point colours.

For this reason, I tried to use the "Subset ID" colomn (every single data point gets the lot number), but I've not been successful.

Can you imagine any possibility to use different point colours in one Weibull diagramme? Of course automatically, not altering colours of points manually.

Best Regards
Gerhard

Gerhard,
Unfortunately Weibull++ groups items that are analyzed together in a single distribution and will not let you (manually or automatically) change the color of individual points in that population.
We apologize for the inconvenience,
Arai

Have you considered using MS Excel to make your plot. You can plot some data with points and no line (your different groups) and plot some data with a line and no points (your combined results).

Hello,

thank you for your fast reply.

Yes, of course, it is possible to export data from Weibull++ and doing some "fashion" on the diagramms, but updating data isn't so easy then.

I only wanted to ensure, that there is really no possibility in Weibull++ itself, but I just don't find the checkbox to click on.

Best Regards
