I have both Weibull++7 and ALTA 7 Pro installed on my PC. Both are properly licensed and updated to the latest build version (7.5.6).
When receiving a Weibull++ file from a colleague via e-mail or file location, double clicking on the Weibull++ icon does not open the file. Instead, I get a dialog box stating that I need a licensed copy of Weibull++ and reverting to ALTA. If I saved the received file to a disk location, launch Weibull++7 first, and then open the file at the saved location; it works fine. This has continued to occur over the past several updates to Weibull++7. ALTA opens files normally by double clicking on the received file icon or open an existing file at a selected location.
Has anyone else encountered this problem with Weibull++7?
