What are the concerns with factorial blocking in a reliability test? I am testing 12 units. On a given day, I stop mechanical testing of a unit, and resume the next morning. For example, friday, I ran 67 cycles - monday, I will finish taking that unit to failure (~125 cycles). I don't believe there are any transient effects, like frictional heating. Are there any other concerns?

As long as the failure mode(s) under consideration is/are independent of the stoppage time then there should be no issues.
