This position requires a degree in engineering or related technical discipline and three (3) years relevant experience or an equivalent of ten (10) years relevant experiences. Must have a working knowledge of personal computers, including spreadsheet and word processing software. Good communication and human relation skills are also a requirement.

Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager and Reliability Group Leader, the Maintenance Mechanical Integrity Specialist will act as a resource for the purpose of determining necessary inspections, material of construction requirements, equipment documentation required to follow the PSM/RMP requirements. The incumbent must be able to interact with a variety of personalities, make immediate decisions, have the ability to work on several tasks at any given time, and be able to work in a fast paced environment. Specific responsibilities include:

Planning and Scheduling Process
Liaison with Area Planners and Team Leaders regarding repaired or rebuilt equipment schedules and quality.
Coordinates the selection, scheduling, and performance of outside inspection vendors.
Assists with QA\QC of repair\rebuild parts and equipment and off site vendor facilities.
Provides assistance with the Maintenance Engineer in performing Root Cause Failure analysis regarding plant equipment.
Initiate and follow up on repair work orders from Mechanical Integrity Inspections.
Project Management
Aids in preparing/amending/reviewing Mechanical Integrity Procedures.
Provides inspection documentation and assists in Root Cause Failure Analysis.
Maintains MI documents for MI Program as per PSM/RMP requirements.
Coordinates and maintains all permits and documents with state, insurance, and other inspectors.
DownTime Reporting
Analysis of data to enable focus on core issues impacting on production and costs.
Incident Investigation
Furnish information and participate as required to complete investigation of incident
System Support
Outside Service Management
Manage inspection contractors.
Liaison with repair shops on inspection and repairs of rebuild equipment.

Individual should be experienced with process improvement methodologies to improve production and committed to continuous improvement. They should also be able to understand the business environment, anticipate trends, and develop strategies to capitalize on opportunities and ensure long term growth.
