We have an opening for a Senior Reliability Engineer for a Medical Devices company in Pittsburgh, PA


Position Summary
Position Title: Senior Reliability Engineer
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Duration: Permanent


Project Description


Work closely with product development teams to establish and help execute reliability assurance programs. This will involve developing reliability targets, selecting and planning reliability assurance tasks then implementing the proper reliability tools to assure that the reliability targets are be met by the design.
Conduct a variety of reliability assurance analyses (in liaison with design teams) including reliability predictions, FMEA, FTA, Reliability Block Diagram modeling and other analysis techniques.
Plan, establish and monitor (with the assistance of technicians) various reliability tests including HALT, ALT, Reliability growth and Reliability demonstration testing.
Interact with purchasing, manufacturing, and service personnel to assure that reliability in the field is reflective of predications and identify opportunities for improvement and corrective action.
Work as part of the existing reliability assurance team to further develop approaches to reliability improvement and demonstration.

Required Skills and Experience


BS in engineering / science discipline or equivalent.
Candidate should have 6 to 7 years of experience in a reliability engineering position or 3 to 7 years in a design engineering position coupled with a reliability education
