Hi,
I'm currently seeking a position within electronic systems reliability engineering. I'm currently employed as a senior Staff Reliability Engineer but due to company cuts I will soon be entering the job market.
I have 5 years of full time reliability engineering experience, although for the previous 17 years I was employed as a design engineer, during which I accepted reliability engineering responsibility for the projects with which I was involved. I have particular experience of working within the consumer electronics, power engineering, broadcast and post production video, telecommunications and aerospace industries.
I can provide a full resume on request but an overview of my current role is as follows:
Within my current employment I have provided technical direction and guidance to group staff members and customers. I have developed reliability processes such as HALT, HASS, HASA (including Proof of Screen), MTBF estimates, BOM screen, reliability demonstration tests and DFMEA.
I have developed and implemented a reliability test plan methodology that provides a structured approach to engineering program reliability support. I have been responsible for setting up laboratories and identifying and evaluating reliability software tools. I have developed and taught reliability training courses that cover the processes that I developed, and in addition I also developed DfR training courses for both design and reliability engineers.
Within this role I provided technical support to automotive, medical and power engineering design programs. I have team leadership experience and a working knowledge of DfSS.
My location preference is the Dallas area but all other opportunities will also be considered.
Regards,
Mark
