Is there anybody out there who would be prepared to email me a set of real reliability data that I could use to for teaching Weibull analysis ? I am looking for a larger set than the example given in the ReliaSoft e-textbook. Ideally, the data would be bi-modal, indicating two types of failure that could be fit to different straight lines on the Weibull plot.

Many thanks!

Chris: The following set of data is the result of an extended operating life test on plastic encapsulated power transistors. The test was terminated at 3400 hours after 10/20 failures. Although the data are "old", this is a typical two slope result where the first three failures represent one mechanism and those following represent another. I no longer have detailed information.

time(hours) ith failure
200 1
1000 2
2000 3
2200 4
2400 5
2500 6
2800 7
3000 8
3100 9
3400 10

N= 20

Hope you find this useful.
