In an article I came across the statement: "Thoman's analytical solutions, which are the gold standards for confidence bound computation for Weibull percentiles."

Do the author refer to the Fisher Matrix confindence bounds, or to the method proposed in Thoman's 1970 Technometrics paper (which requires use of tables)? I will be grateful if you could clear me on this.

I am not aware of the paper. Do you have the exact reference for the mentioned paper?

Actually my question is whether a solution Method by Thoman exists in the literature apart from the one I give below.

The reference is:

Thoman, D., Bain L., Antle, C. (1970), "Maximum Likelihood Estimation, Exact Confidence Intervals for Reliability and Tolerance Limits in the Weibull Distribution," Technometrics, 12, 363-371.
