In an article I came across the statement: "Thoman's analytical solutions, which are the gold standards for confidence bound computation for Weibull percentiles."
Do the author refer to the Fisher Matrix confindence bounds, or to the method proposed in Thoman's 1970 Technometrics paper (which requires use of tables)? I will be grateful if you could clear me on this.
