Moment generating function of the Weibull distribution

I'm reading the book "Weibull Models" from Murthy, Xie and Jiang (2004, Wiley). The book gives a good overview but I'm missing some proofs. For example I'm missing there the derivation of the moment generating function for the standard weibull-modell.

Now I want to know if somebody can suggest me a more detailed book about the standard Weibull distribution which is also comprehensible to practitioners. Thanks a lot for help!
