From BlockSim manual - Use Mean Time for the Exponential distribution allows you to specify whether lambda or mean time will be used as a parameter when the exponential distribution is selected. If selected, the mean time parameter will be used with the exponential distribution - I am not familiar with using "lamba or mean time" for exponential distribution parameter. Lamda I am familiar with. What is mean by "mean time" as exponential distribution parameter?

Lambda is the Failure Rate, which is the reciprocal of the mean (when using an exponential distribution).
