Finding Weibull shape Parameters

Can anyone be kind to provide me an alternative of calculating the Shape parameters for weibull functions. I have read the advice on this site and it recommends the method of predicting.
I would like to calaculate the shape parameter, given I have the mean, ( scale parameter and Location parameter)

You need to solve for beta using equaition 3 as given at http://www.weibull.com/LifeDataWeb/weibull_statistical_properties.htm
