All,
I am new to this forum and reliability engineering.
I am taking a course in project management and one of the case study write-ups deals with deciphering reliability test results on pre-production prototypes.

Where can I find info on standards and procedures?

in this case the testers conducted a "burn-in" to uncover any "infant mortality" problems before they started the life cycle reliability test.

Thanks in advance.
Tim

Well,
Process burn in is the test for the new components befor shipment to avoid any possible customer problem.

The infant mortality is generally come into quality control issue.
