Hi

Does anyone have a reliability model or failure data for a slip ring? I have been unable to find anything on them. Thanks in advance.

ReliaSoft has always stressed the importance of performing reliability assessments based on the results of testing from in-house labs and data pertaining to the performance results of the product in the field.

We also recognize that reliability prediction stands at the center of many reliability programs. Therefore, we currently offer an entire suite of quantitative analysis software tools and RAC’s prediction software, PRISM. http://blocksim.reliasoft.com/prism.htm

ReliaSoft is also finalizing the newest addition to our suite of software, Lambda Predict. Lambda Predict provides a library of different component’s reliability information that you can use when lacking actual test or field data.

If you mean ring=seal or joint, the only data issued from AVCO i know is: lambda =0.3 *e-6/h (laboratory envir.t)
