We are trying to collect up input data to feed RGA Professional for multiple systems with unknown equivalent times. We have a report to query our failure data and put it in an appropriate format for RGA. However, our report to read the fix effectiveness factors of BD modes doesn't sort them in the same order as does RGA, for those with ties (same first time to failure). Looking at the equivalent system's data, the order is not always the same for the ties as it was in the original system. This leads me to question the tie-breaking procedure: original order, mode classification, comment field, etc.
If the logic the software is using to come up with the order of the equivalent system for ties (this is then used to determine the BD modes) could be shared, we could mimic it in our report. Otherwise, we are forced to look at every tie manually and see whether the order is matched. The reason we created a report to sort out the fix effectiveness factors by first seen of the equivalent unit was so that it could be done automatically.
